This is a nice vintage lot of metal Fire Department buttons. 92 buttons in all. I know very little about buttons but if you have any questions, just email me. Most of the buttons have a rounded metal shank on the back and just a few have prongs. One of the smaller buttons has a "P" on the front instead of a "FD". I grabbed a small handful and looked at the front and backs. There is some "Waterbury Co's Inc Conn" "Superior Quality" "Extra Quality" "Pettibone Bros MFG Co" "A.G. Meier & Co., Chicago, ILL" just to name a few. I did not look at the front or back of each of them. Most are in Excellent shape with just a few that the dome has been dented. All need to be cleaned!!! I checked Ebay and most Vintage Fire Department buttons are going for more than $3 apiece. This is a steal at about 50 cents apiece.
